Acquiring DC Direct Sinestro was not in my immediate plans, but the price was too good to ignore. At 400 pesos, it was cheaper that a Mattel DCU Classic figure and that Sinestro was pretty hard to find and this one just basically fell in to my lap.
I found this figure in Toy Kingdom's Megamall branch along with my other Christmas Day hauls. This impulse buy turned out to be a nice surprise. Not only does it features DC Direct's excellent sculpting, it is also based on the designs by Ethan Van Sciver, who is one of my comic book art heroes. It has nice Green Lantern logo base, though U wished it featured the Sinestro Corps logo. Not only that, it has nice Yellow Lantern accesory and has tight joints. The kicker though is that the package actually contains two Yellow Lanterns. It includes the sentient virus, whose name escapes me at the moment. A great buy. (01.02.2010)
