Brought back from Italy after an estate auction, this handmade Italian mother of pearl Mandelin is beautiful.  The maker's name is inside named Luigi Poppi from Palermo.

Mother of Pearl inlay butterfly and on frets along with inlaid pick.

I would recommend getting this item professionally appraised. Vintage madelins can sell between $1,000-5,000 and some are worth more. http://www.vintage-instruments.com/catalogs/mandoidx.htm
