Features:
Though the two panels match up end to end, where they meet down the center, the motif halves are mismatched, creating a blurring effect.
Another Striking Anomaly is the complete absence in one panel of a turquoise blue that appears throughout in the other panel.
Condition:Average
Defects:
Relatively extensive restoration exists at the end of one panel, including replace warp threads and use of synthetically-dyed teal wool.
Curling corners, a common problem, has been solved by unbraiding the warops and trimming them. This explains the absence of a plaited band on that end of the kilim and why warps on one panel have been cut short.
