Kilims of this design types using these dyes were woven in the Sivas-Malatya area, but the use of cotton for the warps and the coarseness of the weft wool makes a definitive statement of weaving area difficult.
Based on dyes and design, the area somewhere between Kayseri, Sivas and Malatya might be the best educated guess for its origin.
While visually appealing, relatively old and intact, neither the dyes, wool quality nor design of this rug are sufficient to quality it as a first-rate collectible piece. However, this type of small village kilim has become difficult to find in the market and could likely be easily sold at market value.
