Victorian BLEEDING HEART BLACK GLASS BUTTON

You are bidding on an antique black glass button! I found this button at an estate sale along with more vintage buttons and a lot of other interesting items! Check out my other items!

According to the National Button Society, there are official sizes for buttons. They are:

• Large: 1 1/4" and over
• Medium: 3/4" to 1 1/4"
• Small: 3/8" to 3/4"
• Diminutive: Up to 3/8"

Description:

• Black glass button
• Embossed with a bleeding heart flower
• Raised areas highlighted in silver & gold paint
• Victorian era
• Embedded brass shank with 4 holes
• A great focal point for a special jacket or coat
• A beauty

Size:

• 15/16" diameter

Condition:

• Used
• A few small scratches
• A 1/16" flake on the side (see photo). Not easily noticed, but it is there
