 This listing is for a fabulous 19th century French enameled portrait on porcelain mounted in an ornate gilt bronze frame.

Outside measurement is 5 3/8" high and 3 1/4" wide with the insert area measuring 3 5/8" high and 2 1/4" wide. 

This lovely frame has a gilt ribbon garland embellishment on the top, an ornate design on the border with an easel silk covered back. This beautiful unique frame dates from the late 1800s to early 1900s and is in excellent condition.  The frame is in excellent condition although the silk backing is frayed.

The portrait is gorgeous with flawless details and beautiful coloration on white porcelain and is signed "Bizet".

 The portrait and frame are really spectacular and will definitely become one of your favorite items!
