International Buyers Please Note:
Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.
Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
Customs fees are normally charged by the shipping company or collected when you pick the item up. These fees are not additional shipping charges.
We won't under-value merchandise or mark the item as a gift on customs forms. Doing that is against U.S. and international laws.
SHIPPING & TERMS:
Please note: All the items we offer are guaranteed to be old and authentic as described. We do not handle reproductions or fakes and we stand behind everything we sell.
Domestic: If the value of your purchase is less than $50 and it does not weigh too much we can ship it by media mail for c. $5. This applies to U.S. addresses only. We prefer Priority insured with on-line tracking. This is usually around $8-10 for single items. We are always happy to combine items to help you save on shipping cost.
SHIPPING CALCULATOR -- BUYER'S OUTSIDE THE USA:
PLEASE READ BEFORE PAYING:
International Buyers: All parcels worth more than $50 must be sent Priority Airmail. First Class airmail is only available for items worth under $50.
We cannot ship items worth over $100 via First Class mail.
For books and other items with value, the eBay shipping calculator is often wrong.
Please do not pay for an item until we have sent you an invoice!
If you do pay prior to receiving an invoice, great. But then please understand we may have to email you for extra shipping charges overlooked by the eBay shipping calculator.
ANTIQUE ITEMS AS REPRESENTED:
Please know that we absolutely never attempt to mis-represent what we are offering. Almost everthing is 100 years old or older and antique items can be challenging to describe. We take multiple pictures for every item, and we do our best to mention & describe the item in a full manner which accurately conveys what it is and how it survives. We're never trying to hide anything or deceive you, since you'll be receiving the item and can inspect it.
It is possible we can occasionally overlook or miss something, fail to mention something, etc., but it is never done intentionally and we are always willing to take something back if our description somehow omits mentioning something which can reasonably considered a note-worthy fault or defect (old book plates at the front of books do not count here).
Describing the condition of antique items is always a bit subjective; everyone attaches different levels of importance to different issues. We tell you all this to explain our approach to describing our items. The last thing we want (and something which happens only rarely) is for someone to get someting and be disappointed. Indeed, it is usually quite the opposite.
Most people who buy from us are very happy when the item arrives and often feel we have undersold the item- in fact, it's nicer than we said and nicer than it appears on the screen.
Even after the sale, we're here for you. We want you to come back, be a regular customer, tell your friends about us, etc.

We hope you find us friendly and reasonable. We're confident you'll be pleased with the item and the transaction.
If you are ever unhappy for any reason, please email us before you leave feedback!
We will work with you and you will leave us happy!
Thank you.
