I enjoy simple landscapes with dramatic light and shadows- early morning light is especially beautiful. I keep my camera with me most of the time- you never know when a beautiful scene will inspire you. Some of my favourite photos that I have used for painting have been taken on my way to my summer art shows, just as the sun is coming up. Although I enjoy painting both city street scenes and rural scenes, water reflections and snow scenes have always been my favourite landscape subjects.
Carol Clark lives in London, Ontario, Canada and has been painting in watercolour for over 20 years. All reproductions are professionally printed on acid free stock with light fast inks to prevent fading.
