Very puzzling Jade,either from the Zhou or Han Dynasty.Note the following:
01.Have a Human head in a bird body,even to the tail region.
02.The Phoenix's head and neck,seems to grow out of the back of the bird.
03.There is a hole at top of Phoenix's head for attachment.
04.There are cloud designs on the phoenix's neck,which gives it a tentative dating of the Han Dynasty.
05.The Beak is not corroded and shows that it is Nephrite.
Very puzzling and will appreciated any feedback.
