Notes

A Jade Pectoral Pendant Component from the Han Dynasty of China. Note the following:

01.The design is of a single sharp nose dragon spiralling in  motion.

02.The Jade is originally of a translucent white Nephrite.

03.The unique and unusual aspect of this Jade is the rectangular spiral design covering the body in shallow incised lines.

04. There is a hole in the upper middle section for attachment.

An unusual Jade to illustrate the wide variety of pendant components  used in the Zhou and Han Dynasties.
