Implications of Tiger in Chinese Paintings:
The Tiger, the third sign of the Chinese zodiac, is thought of as ruler of the beasts on Earth.
I saw this set of Tiger drawings in an exhibition in Paris in the 80s
and through a friend of mine who is an expert in Chinese art I
finally bought the set in the 90s from him in his Paris show room. The
drawings are from an outstanding quality and with the time passed it is
difficult to find the same again.
Of course the time has left there foxing marks on the paper and added to its
vintage look.
I used the set in my bedroom, as the tiger protect my sleep.

This quality is hard to find nowadays and it is a rare occasion to get such a quality set.
They are a lovely and well kept set of 3 hand brushed painting from China.
Size of the Male and Female Tiger painting is framed 97 cm x 97 cm.
Size of Baby Tiger drawing is 75 cm x 75 cm and that makes the Baby
Tiger drawing a little bit smaller than the parents pictures.
