Vintage original Felisi Milano, Italy hand stitched leather case with folding wood ruler with brass hinges.

Limited edition ruler case Number 81 hand made in Italy from the famous Felisi shop in the Via della Spiga Milan, Italy.

Heavy brown leather case, but inside is dark red, soft Nubuck to protect the folding 1m / 36 inch wooden ruler Number 1162 from RABONE & Sons England in Boxwood. Rule is marked out in feet and inches up to 36” long overall and in cm up to one meter.
There is also a mm and m conversion to in and ft. Even the brass hinges are engraved for precise measuring.

The leather case carries the exclusive logo and is stamped Felisi representing the Felisi family’s ancient coat of arms.
The image holds an apple tree with fruits, a symbol of fertility and prosperity.
In ancient times it symbolized the ideals of an eternal will of friendship, justice, purity and nobility, which have been passed on from father to son for generations.
