HYDROMETER Set+Spirit Table Book~Brass Weights &Blake Ruler
Hi Ebayers! I’m pleased to
offer this wonderful old Hydrometer set. The wooden box or case contains the
brass hydrometer with various brass weights. It also has the original T.O.
Blake (Sikes Hydrometer Ltd) conversion ruler and a mercury thermometer on a
cream material. It is stamped W. REEVES LONDON. The box is lined with satin and
velvet. The set comes with a hardcover book titled, SPIRIT TABLES FOR SIKES
HYDROMETERS which dates from 1916. This
set was used to determine the strength of spirits and was issued under the
authority of the Commissioners of H. M. Customs and Excise.
The box measures 20.6 cm or
8 ¼ inches long and with the book weighs over 1 kg unpacked. The hydrometer set
is in very good condition but the book is showing its age. It is still
readable. I have a money back return policy if not satisfied so bid with confidence!

up is available from Noosa, Qld. I DO combine items for some big savings
on postage on the additional items. I basically charge Australia Post costs
plus $1.00 per item. Therefore, it may only cost an extra $1.00 to post small
additional items.
