1930s LOMARA MINIATURE Field MICROSCOPE German Pre War

Description

I post ‘ to-all-points’ in Australia- and Worldwide! Pick up also available from Eltham, Melbourne.

Whilst a truly miniature Microscope, this is also a beautiful precision instrument made in the 30s for serious use- probably intended for field use.

Appears complete with all the lenses, boxes and covers. Marked d.r.p. ( pre war German patent )

An extremely small compact item, the lenses work in a combination fashion...they can be combined to obtain the magnification you require, all threaded, so they neatly screw onto each other. Beautifully made and in fine working order. The lenses are coded/numbered to side. All lenses are present and complete this wonderful early item, contained in their original boxes and leather case. There is a multilingual chart to the lid of the long box explaining the lens combinations possible. Note magnification up to 250x is possible!

All original, complete and in good working condition all lenses are clean. The leather case is also original and mint condition.

This has been very well maintained and stored. One end of the narrow box lid is torn at corners, otherwise just surface wear to card boxes only.
