Beautiful Original Art Deco Bronze Dancing Lady by Morin: $695.00

This is a lovely original bronze by the German artist Georges Morin. He was born in 1874 and his date of death is unknown. He is listed in Berman's Art reference guide and is well known for his portrait paintings and his bronze sculptures, specifically of dancers. We have two from his bronze collection of dancing ladies. This particular gilt bronze stands a very regal 7" high with the green onyx base. She is holding cymbals in her hands and is dancing with her dress blowing in the wind. She is graceful and sensual all at the same time. The bronze itself is in perfect condition, but alas, part of the onyx is chipped off in the back, it is hard to notice because it is only chipped in the brown veining. It is signed Morin on the base of the bronze. This is a period Art Deco piece with obvious influence of Art Nouveau style. Shipping is FREE within the 48 contiguous states.
