This auction is for one Authentic Autograph card
of DENYCE LAWTON. This card is from the 2010 Benchwarmer Signature Series Trading
Cards.
The lettering are in Blue Foil at the front, and it's numbered #73A on the back. The signature is in Blue Ink at
the
front with serial number #1/5, in MINT-NRMT condition.
Denise-Marie Lawton (Korean: 데니스 마리 러튼) (born May 2, 1978) is a model and actress known as Denyce Lawton. Lawton is of African American and Korean descent. Born in Seoul, South Korea.
In 1998, Lawton was offered an assistant Vice President position at Warner Bros. Records. She was also an Assistant Junior Publicist at 20th Century Fox Films.
With limited experience and opportunities, Lawton participated in
several Theatrical Plays as well as the famous Shakespeare In The Park
Company. She began modeling for Kemi Oil, FUBU, ADIDAS, Enyce, Karl Kani and Baby Phat. While pursuing her acting and modeling career, she also appeared in several Hip Hop/R&B music videos; "Rock Star" by N.E.R.D, "Peaches & Cream" by 112, "One Mic" by Nas, "Anything" by Jaheim, and "Want It, Need It" by Plies.
Lawton say these video appearances were to accumulate enough camera
experience and money to fund her acting pursuits before she decided to
move to Los Angeles, California in December 2001.
Other film credits include the films Soul Plane, Go for Broke, and It Ain't Easy. Denyce has also appeared in television shows such as Entourage, Scratch & Burn, Half & Half, The Parkers, the action auto thriller Redline, and 7eventy 5ive.
Lawton is currently a series regular on Tyler Perry's House of Payne, where she plays the character Dana the manicurist in the barber shop.
