Notes

This Side Profile Double Sided Human is from the Warring States of over 2000 years ago and is an excellent extant example from this Golden Age of Jade.

01.The Jade(Nephrite) is highly translucent and Nephrite, because of its micro-fibre structure must be of very high "quality" to be translucent.

02.The human fiqure seems to resemble a court entertainer or perhaps a shaman ,but still consider most of them as court entertainers during the Warring States period.

03..Divided into 3 sections;the top is the head, middle the body and the bottom the legs.

04.The Jade is exquisitely finished with no sharp angles and also convexed out in the middle.

05..One of the best example of this type in Public and Museum Collections worldwide.
