Notes

One of the most aesthetically pleasing Jades in collection.A beautiful flowing galloping "deer".Racing against the wind, enjoying the freedom of its existence, without a care in the world. A "free" spirit within its natural environment.Enough poetic ramblings. Note the following technical points:

01. The Jade(Nephrite) is of a mellow translucent white of high quality.

02. The cloud pattern on body, dates it to the Han Dynasty.

03.  The work is probably of the minorities race of western China(Ordos Region).

04.   More a zoomorphic deer with the spiked spine.

All in all,a beautiful piece and one of my favourite.Visit the Friends of Jade website to know more about Jade in general.
