A weather-worn Jade War-Horse,that is now retired out to pasture after serving its tour of duty.Shown recumbent but still maintaining its martial bearing with the upright neck & head. The Tang Dynasty Jade Horses are usually military horses as can be seen in the mane of this old War-Horse.
Always have a soft spot for beautifully weather-worn Antique Jade ,especially in this case where streaks of darkish erosion are visible,perhaps reflecting the scars of war that the Warrior & Horse endured, through the many Military Campaigns!!!
