Very seldom come across a Flying Bat in the Neolithic Era. This Jade (Nephrite) Bat is well designed and detailed on both surfaces;top and below.
On top is discernable the eyes and subtle gooves forming the wings. On bottom is a pair of holes for attachment and undulating grooves forming the body. The top is convex and the underbelly is concave. This is another of a 'First' extant evidence of a 'Bat' or similar creature in Chinese Culture and a magnificent example at that!!
