Notes

This Jade(Nephrite) Huang is unusual in that it has an animal head at both ends and a middle hole. This is probably the original design for the later Huangs esp. of the Warring States (300 B.C.) 2000 years later,where there is one in the Jade Pendant Components collection. This series of Hongshan Jades has a lot of early designs of the later historical Imperial Dynasties!
