Notes

Name: Tread Bolt
Faction: Autobot

Manufacturer: Hasbro
Series: Transformers Universe
Release Date: October 2008

Details (Description):
TREAD BOLT is a ghost. Though he is an aerial ace, his real talent lies in stealth. Special sensor-refractive armor renders him invisible to all but the most sophisticated detection technology. Silent, super-precise lasers let him take out enemy spotters before they can shout a warning. More than a few DECEPTICONS have been blown to pieces before they ever even heard him coming. He has alienated a lot of his fellow AUTOBOTS, because when he's not sneaking up on DECEPTICONS, he creeps around scaring the heck out of anyone he can find.

Personal Notes:
This purchase was hard to resist. The price was already marked down to less than 50% of its original sticker price. Plus I got another 10% off on top of the discounted price. I've had an eye on this piece for a while, waiting for the right moment to buy it. I guess today was the day.

I really the original release of this mold, Classics Jetfire, which I believed would be as close as Hasbro was going to get to releasing a Macross Valkyrie, the original G1 toy of Jetfire.

I really like the blue paint application and the tampographed decal " Air Defense" is a nice touch. BlueTread Bolt could be the Max to Jetfire's Hikaru.

This one is staying mint in sealed box for the foreseeable future, since Classics Jetfire is loose and on display. 10.01.2009

Toys

By the power of GraySkull, I have the power! Does that ring a bell? Well for those of you uninformed about this line, it comes from an animated cartoon called He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The Mattel comic hero has been an inspiration and idol to many all over the world – kids of course! Toys are a great sense of entertainment and fun for children.

Toys give little toddlers that extra nudge to leap into their own private realm of fantasy. Kids take a lot of passion into playing with toys as they identify and aspire to be like the characters portrayed. Ever witnessed a 5 year old girls tea-party? Well, they do not actually prepare it, although its a piece of their imaginary world that exists. What about the 6 year old boy who gets his Batman and Joker action figures into a heated clash? Its quite a sight! Toys work as an immense source of entertainment and fun for children. Besides that, there is a lot that they learn as well.

Toys play pivotal roles in helping children discover their personalities, adapt to certain situations, learn the essence of relationships and how they work and explore hidden skills and talent. Children use toys as a yardstick by which they measure their own identity. They strive to resemble the toys they adore and gradually create their own distinctive characters. Toys can act as a real stress-buster. Surprised? Its a proven fact that children feel a sense of stress and disappointment as well. Toys are their ticket to a sheer entertainment planet of their own. That would explain why after a scolding, you would see kids running straight to their rooms to play with their toy cars or dolls.

Toys not only prove to be a product of leisure, but also an object of self-enhancement for kids.
