Name: Jetfire
Faction: Autobot
Function: Air Guardian
Manufacturer: Hasbro
Series: Transformers Revenge of The Fallen
Release Date: June 2009
Details (Description): JETFIRE grew tired of war a long time ago. The reckless ambition of the DECEPTICONS, and the senseless violence of their war sickened him, and so he left CYBERTRON to go into hiding. The form he eventually chose on Earth seemed appropriate for one who wished to remain unseen. He slumbered in peace for years. Now, reawakened by the arrival of the war on Earth, he decides once again to enter the fight – this time on the side of the AUTOBOTS, and this time to end it for good, whatever the cost.
Personal Notes:
The sweetener in my decision to get the new Leader Class Optimus Prime. With Prime and Jetfire, I can combine the two into Power Up Optimus Prime. But thats beside the point. Jetfire is a pretty nice translation of the ultimate spy plane from the Cold War, the SR-71 Blackbird. I've never seen a Transformes with a decent Blackbird transformation before and the guy comes in black. I care little for the geriatric depiction of the robot, though Michael Bay and the writers are to blame for that I guess.
Toys
By the power of GraySkull, I have the power! Does that ring a bell? Well for those of you uninformed about this line, it comes from an animated cartoon called He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The Mattel comic hero has been an inspiration and idol to many all over the world – kids of course! Toys are a great sense of entertainment and fun for children.
Toys give little toddlers that extra nudge to leap into their own private realm of fantasy. Kids take a lot of passion into playing with toys as they identify and aspire to be like the characters portrayed. Ever witnessed a 5 year old girls tea-party? Well, they do not actually prepare it, although its a piece of their imaginary world that exists. What about the 6 year old boy who gets his Batman and Joker action figures into a heated clash? Its quite a sight! Toys work as an immense source of entertainment and fun for children. Besides that, there is a lot that they learn as well.
Toys play pivotal roles in helping children discover their personalities, adapt to certain situations, learn the essence of relationships and how they work and explore hidden skills and talent. Children use toys as a yardstick by which they measure their own identity. They strive to resemble the toys they adore and gradually create their own distinctive characters. Toys can act as a real stress-buster. Surprised? Its a proven fact that children feel a sense of stress and disappointment as well. Toys are their ticket to a sheer entertainment planet of their own. That would explain why after a scolding, you would see kids running straight to their rooms to play with their toy cars or dolls.
Toys not only prove to be a product of leisure, but also an object of self-enhancement for kids.
