Our story behind the Woodland Gnomes: The first Woodland Gnomes arrived in North America along with Christopher Columbus and his crew on the Santa Maria in 1492. These gnomes were in search of new land and great adventure, which they found upon their arrival to North America. They were amazed at the abundance of land and plant life that they found in their travels across this new land.
Woodland Gnomes make it a life practice to do good deeds without recognition and they are ardent protectors of the environment and caregivers to the animals. Some of their daily activities include rescuing animals from traps, removing splinters from paws and feeding animals that did not put away enough food for the winter.
