A flat thin Jade plaque in the form of a Parrot from the Shang Dynasty. Note the following:

01. Pleasingly structured with a hooked beak and plume feathers.

02. Body patterns of wings and  feathers done in double incised lines.

03. Hole at apex of plume for attachment.

04. Jade is Nephrite and translucent.

Rare and exquisite Jade Parrot from the Shang Dynasty of Old China.
