A medium height Jade Cong from the neolithic Liangzhu Culture of approx. 4500 years ago. Note the following:

01.Divided into 5 sections vertically with 3 simplified face images and 2 complex face images.

02.The Cong is characteristically broader at top than bottom and the complex face's eyes are slightly concaved in;an intricate and technically advance technique.

03.The permeation and enhancement by Nature's forces and elements through the milleniums resulted in a mellow,mottled beige patina.

Liangzhu Jades are stunning,but what attracted and fascinate about this Cong,is that the eyes of the complex faces seems to be staring at you as if to communicate.(refer image 01 enlarged).
