This Jade "Old' Bird poses many intriguing questions and an excellent antique for evaluation.Questions:
01.Was the corroded section that wraps round, front ,side and back in the original stone ?
02. The pair of holes at back is also corroded.Was it so when first carved?
03. The artisan seems to use the darker skin on surface of the pseudo Jade to portray the face.Was it intentional?
So many other questions possible and will date it to the neolithic age and even possible to the Liangzhu culture!
