Yue ware production territory was predominantly in the Zhejiang province near modern Shanghai.The original Yue people was a very ancient tribe and is probably linked to the Liangzhu Culture of over 4000 years ago.Similarities in design on the inner surface of bowl is reminescent of that in the Liangzhu Jades,especially the slanted Jade in my Liangzhu collection and also the closely incised Jade Bird!!!
