A bificurated tail dragon curling round a slightly funnel shaped solid cylinder. This Jade Ornament is dated to the Ming rather than the Han is because of the slight difference in the dragon shape which is less intricate than the Han or Warring States Period and the design pattern on the cylinder is also different. Nevertheless this Jade Dragon Ornament is well executed and the hole drilled from top to bottom may have been for attachment to a rod or staff.
