"Retreat To Safety" adorable collectible figurine by MI Humel. Backstamp as pictured with Bee above V which dates between 1950-1955. Backstamp in Blue but GERMANY in Black print. Above stamp, numers are imprinted that appear to be 289 2/0 and separately 78. (TMK-2) "In 1950 Goebel wished to pay tribute to Sister Hummel's death. At this time the trademark was changed to a bee flying high within a V. The name Hummel in German means "bumblebee" and the V stands for "Verkaufsgesellschat" or Distribution Company. This new mark was called the "Full Bee" and was used until 1955." quote from Ebay Guide. I have done my best to photograph from every angle and I have more photos upon request.
