This vintage mug was personally ordered by John Wayne to give as a gift to all the cast and crew members. They were not made to be sold to the general public, so there are few remaining. This particular mug was given to hairdresser, Pat Abbott on the set of "The Cowboys" in 1972. This movie was directed by Mark Rydell and also stars Roscoe Lee Browne and Bruce Dern.

The front of the mug depicts Wayne with his "cowboys" teaching them how to rope a calf. The reverse side is imprinted: Pat from Duke.

This is a great collectors item! It is one of a kind and in mint condition.
