Notes
The handmade paper of Amalfi is world famous. You can usually get it in stationer's stores here in the States--if you're willing to part with an arm or a leg to get it. I've used one sheet and envelope so far, in a special birthday letter I wrote my Dad a few years back. The paper's texture really gives your pencil graphite or pen ink something to push against; with handmade paper such as this, writing becomes a tactile, interactive activity.
