Notes

Viewed horizontally, the medallions contain the elibelinde mother-goddess design along with various other small motifs such as snakes and a tribal damga. A zipper design design that shifts colors connects the medallions from top to bottom.

The space between the medallions is filled with star shaped lozenges.

Wide vertical borders repeat the center star shaped lozenge design.The midnight blue field on each side of the medallions is filled with wolf mouth motifs on long thin stems, alternating in and out of the field to reinforce the ivory fence guards that are on each side of the border.

Borders contain inverted triangle/bar motifs inside the hexagons.
