Meet Your Community Manager

CatherineHello antique lovers! I'm Catherine, your community manager for antiques. Hopefully all of you checked out the 2008 Antiques Roadshow, which I mentioned last month in my newsletter. This show proves the true value behind antiques and gives antique collectors the motivation they need to get their items appraised.  Many antique collectors feel that another motivation for getting their items appraised is the struggling economy.  While the economy is uncertain, this may be the perfect time to start getting your antiques appraised.  Just in case you need to trade in for some extra cash, you'll know what your items are worth.

Want to find the value of your antiques? Get a certified appraisal through iTaggit,or use the iTaggit community and expert members to help value your antiques!

This month check out the local antique shows in your city at Antique Trader. This site has a variety of antique shows that may be of interest to you! If you know of a great antique show in your area, share it with the antique community.

As always, we love to hear antique appraisal success stories. Click here to share your story!

By far, this Orca Tooth Letter Opener by ScrimCollector is one of iTaggit's most unique antique items. This orca wale tooth is scribed with detailed images and initials dating back to the Victorian Era. While ScrimCollector has many fascinating antique scrimshaw items, the Orca Tooth Letter Opener deserves special recognition for it's outstanding condition and beautiful markings.
