John Webber's Grandfather had given him the cup to play with as a child. He assumed it was made of brass, and even used it as a target for his air pistol. When he decided to move to a new house last year, he pulled it out from under his bed ,where it had been forgotten for many years, and had the item valued. Would you believe that it was a rare piece of Persian treasure, and was beaten out of a single sheet of gold? The cup dates back to the third or fourth century B.C.!!
