What's the difference between hiring a professional or going it alone?
There are just too many ways to answer that question, but it may never be AS important than when the question is asked about an estate liquidation.
I know because it comes up so often in my business as an auctioneer.
And just as each family and estate is different, there are many angles from which to approach the issue.
Luckily
for me, when I want an entertaining or an informative look at the
industry for an Examiner article, or a podcast episode, or in this case
BOTH, I have some great friends I can count on for help.
One of
those I best in the business is Martin Codina of Fine Estate Liquidation
Inc. who does San Francisco area estate sales which can be found at http://finesf.com/
I
recentley did an interview with him which you can give a listen to
right from here, or download the episode. I'm sure that you'll find
Martin is both informative and entertaining!
Besides
generously giving advice which he's gained from years of experience,
Martin also invites reputable estate sales companies to enter a listing
of their services in his National Estate Liquidation Sales Companies Directory at: http://fineestateliquidation.com/estate-sales-companies If your an estate sale attendee, you'll get just as much out of that directory.
In
the interview we talked also about how some estates have good value,
but simply cannot afford the services of a liquidator for one reason or
another. For those, Martin offers, Do it Yourself Estate Sales
As you can see, he's got omething for everyone, so why not stop in at one of his sites and say hi! He's good like that.
