I collect First Edition Books. If there are other people that like these as well please send a message to me. My user id is daltounian2007.
This is my first day on 'iTaggit'. I have quite a few old books (1800's) - just haven't tried selling them. They're not any specific type as you will see with my examples: AESOP'S FABLES/1879, The Shepherd Psalm/1889, Evageline/1893. I also have many from the early 1900's (pre 50's): Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam/1917, Grapes of Wrath/1939, Encyclopedia Britannica Set/1910.
Any help for a beginner would be appreciated. I have a whole house with 40yrs of 'stuff' and the dealers I've contacted aren't jumping to see what I have because the road isn't the easiest. Needless to say, I'm turning to the computer to see what happens.
Hope I haven't wasted your time.....

I too have a house full of good things (books) ect I have inherited or collected for ages I also would like to downsize of course there are the have to keep items but so much stuff starts to fill a house up quick. I have books I know are worth something but dont even know how to go about listing and selling I have tried listing a few on this site to see if they are worth anything. Thought about setting up a booth at an antique mall alot of different ways to unload . Any ideas anyone? Thanks Joan "Starseeker4kps@ yahoo.com happy reading
