Have a comic book..need to know if it's worth anything please RSS

My mom has an issue of Captain Atom #3 from 1951 and I need to know if it's worth anything. My dad has severe emphysema and they need the extra money to get by right now.  They want me to put it on EBAy but I need to know if it's even worth messing with.  The comic book was my father's when he was a child and he is 65 years old.  It is in great condition.  Thank you Smile

My name is Brad and I am a community manager for iTaggit.com.  I was looking in one of our Comic Book Price Guides and noticed that Captain Atom #3 from 1951 would fall in the price range of $23 to $200 depending on the condition.  If it is in great condition like you say, then it could be worth around $200 so give it a shot on EBay.   Let me know if you have any other questions.
