"they're coming to get you Barbara!" - famous last words from barbara's brother in one of the all time cult classics - Night of the Living Dead".  since this movie came out in 1968 Zombies have steadily risen (from beyond the grave?) out of cult genre and into the main stream. newer movies like Shaun of the Dead, Fido, and 28 days later have added to the popularity. Now Zombies have taken over the comic realm with the success of Marvel Zombies. Marvel is zombie crazy, covers on most of their popular titles have been transformed into the living dead by brilliant artist Arthur Suydam.

 Marvel were'nt the first with zombie comics, The Walking Dead has been a very popular series and the Army of Darkness series (based on the fantastic Evil Dead Movies)  is still going strong - there was even a marvel zombies / Army Of Darkness cross-over with Ash fighting  Zombie Spider-man. there are many more independent titles out there as well.

So next time you are at the friendly neighborhood comic shop. check out the variety of undead titles. and remember....
