Hello!
I am Junaid your Community Manager for Movies, Music, and Video Games. June is shaping up to be an amazing month for film, with the
release of Kung
Fu Panda starring
Jack Black, Mongol,
a story about Genghis Kahn, You
Don't Mess With the Zohan,
The
Increduble Hulk,
Get
Smart,
and Wall·E.
All of these films look great, and I am sure there is something for
everyone.
Also,
be sure to check out these great video games released this month:
MLB Slugfest (Xbox
360, PS2), Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories (PS2),
Moto GP 06 (Xbox 360..
a motorcycle racing game!), NFL Head Coach (Xbox,
PS2, PC), and Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest
(PS2, PSP, DS, GBA, PC).
The
big story in music news: Metallica has released the title of their
new album, Death Magnetic.
Fans have been assured that this album will more than make up for
their last lack-luster release Saint Anger,
and bring the band back to its 80's roots. Here's hoping!
If you
have seen a great movie, played a great game, or heard some awesome
music and want to tell others, blog about it!

Grand Theft Auto IV
salvanipour is the owner of one
of the most sought after games, Grand Theft Auto IV, which was released on
the 29th
of April and since has sold over 5.5 million copies worldwide. It was
one of the few games that I have seen in a long time receive a
perfect review on most video game review sites and on many different
platforms, a rarity in the video game industry. The story of the game
is of a recent immigrant, Niko, who comes to America in hopes of
attaining the American dream with the help of his wealthy and
established cousin, Roman. Unfortunately, his cousin turns out to be
a bust in America and is in pretty bad shape himself. Niko must now
find a way to survive in the harsh reality of the American
Underworld.

Freaks
This
month's featured item is the movie Freaks,
directed by Tod Browning. It can be found in BrownJustinT's
extensive movie collection. The film was originally released
February 20, 1932 was re-released on DVD in 2004. From his notes
section:
"Tod Browning, who directed Bela Lugosi
in the original Dracula, stepped into even eerier territory with this
1932 story of betrayal and retribution in the circus. Evil trapeze
artist Olga Baclanova seduces and marries a midget in the circus
sideshow, hoping to inherit his wealth. But in doing so, she has
crossed the wrong folks: the tightly knit group of nature's
aberrations, who stick together like family--and who set out to
avenge their little pal." - Marshall Fine
