Clearly, transparancy is the wave of the future. I read this article about how many new car designs include making entire panels clear, like this.

And they're plastic. I'm not really sure what the value in plastic cars is (if anyone is, do tell), but apparently these types of cars are supposed to eliminate lots of trips to the gas station.
