I purchased the Woodpecker at an auction in North Carolina.  It is approx. 7 3/4" high of iridescent blue, green, cream and rose on his belly.  There is a hand written tag on the bottom that says "From Grandpa to Mom" Cardiff, Wales 1912.  The potters mark looks like a pari of outspread wings from the side.  It was painted on before the firing.  If anyone has any information, I would really appreciate any guidance,  I talked to a lady in the UK and she informed me that there was a pottery company in Cardiff named Poole, but that it was definately not Poole so I dont know where to go from here.  Thanks   Sheryl  iammissinglink@gmail.com
