Total Views: 2,100 Blog Rating:

TIAS serves approximately 190,000 unique customers a day. About 600 merchants sell through the TIAS system, listing well over half a million antiques & collectibles for sale online. TIAS can also function as an antique price guide as well as a place to look for antique appraisals.  The company has been building e-commerce systems for merchants who sell antiques and collectibles since April of 1995 and the site is considered to be the Web's oldest and largest online antique mall. Coming2,

If you have antiques and collectibles that you want to sell, TIAS would be a great site to look at.  They offer monthly memberships for people with a few items to sell or yearly memberships for people that want to create an online store. If you just want to share your items with other collectors, then creating a collection here on iTaggit is a great idea. Just go to the My Collections section and upload images of your collectibles. This allows other iTaggit users to view your collection.

jumpsy71,

Check out one of our partner sites, What's It Worth 2 You at:

http://www.wiw2u.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=users.Registration&act=form&eval_code=976556

There you can have your items appraised by professionals starting at under $10.  Another idea is to look at eBay.com and see what prices similar items are selling for.  This method may not be as accurate, but it can give you a good estimate of an items value.  If you have any more questions let me know,

Eric

I have a clay mask by Dyan Nelson, dates 1985, from the Nobody's Fool collection.  It is a full head wall mask.  I can not find any info since company who sold went out of business a few years ago.  The artist Dyan Nelson is still producing canvas art and is currently in galleries.  It was fairly expensive when purchased.  Any idea how I can have it valued in today's market?  Any help whould be great, since I am interested in selling.

I am looking for an appraisal on an 1800's original oil painting signed by C H Ellenwood (1838). It is very large and in good condition with (appears to be) original frame. The painting was passed down through my father's family. It has been in our home since I can remember and still hangs in my mother's living room. The scene is of the Arch Bridge of Keeseville NY.
