I think you are going to find that there will be almost no one qualified to provide an appraisal who will do it for free. There are already a number of sites of this type on the internet that have hundreds of people looking for an appraisal with very little response on the answer/appraisal side.

I've moderated a couple of antique forums which ended up hiring Appraisers because everyone wanted a free appraisal, but very, very few had anything to add to the discussion except " I've got one of those too, how much is it worth?" ;~)

There are many times that a rather common looking item can be worth far more

than a virtually identical piece, and only a specialist will spot it. For example, there are some Royal Doulton  "Mini" Toby's made as late as 1967 that sell for in excess of $2000.00, while the vast majority made the same year sell for under $50.00.

So in closing, all I can say is a free appraisal is worth every cent ;~) Spend a few bucks and get a legitimate appraisal by a professional.

i have a ring apoxx 80 years old family estate piece it has a round ruby that is sat ina star setting around the edges is diamonds that forms a  cluster. it does one chip outthis ring is possiably one of a kind that my great grand mother had made for her self.

I have a Lithographic Drawing done by Birger Sandzen of the Dwight D. Eisenhower, Boyhood Home. The Drawing is signed by Birger Sandzen.  There is also a photograph of the Eisenhower Foundation that is a Certificate of Memorial Membership and a Letter  from the Eisenhower Foundation dated 18 November, 1954 that states the Eisenhower Foundation Organized to promote citizenship and to Honor Veterans of America's Wars, Inc.  The letter states the this is "A Souvenir receipt which will serve as evidence of contribution.  This letter was Signed by Sam R Heller, President of the Eisenhower Museum. Also including a Special token of appreciation and sent a gift of an etching of the Home by Birger Sandzen.
