Recently, one of our customers emailed me his iTaggit story. I'd like to share it with you.
Our customer collects Scrim, the antique, maritime art of engraving on bone. His collection is itemized and publicly listed with iTaggit, which optimizes it for the World Wide Web's search engines.
The story begins with a woman searching for information on her relative, carpenter aboard the Whaling Bark Roscius which sailed in 1843-1846. She found information on her relative at the New Bedford Whaling Museum, and then did a Google search to see what else she could find.
Because of iTaggit's proprietary technology to optimize our public items in search engines, as well as our customer's detailed description and naming, the researcher found this artwork in the collection of our customer, ScrimCollector. Through iTaggit's system, she reached out to ScrimCollector, and shared her history of this piece.
Now, ScrimCollector has the details and the context of this antique piece. Additionally, he is in touch with the artist's relative, over 150 years later!
This is the fabulous story of listing your items and collections on iTaggit.
What's your iTaggit story? I can't wait to hear it.
Warmest Regards,
Amanda
