Eric

Expert Eric here, and I am back with a recap of this month in sports!
May was an exciting month in the sport's world. Both the NBA and NHL had great playoff seasons and now we're down to the final two. I thought the Red Wings had wrapped up their US-leading 11th Stanley Cup Monday night, but the Penguins showed great determination in at least extending this series to game 6. We'll see if Sidney Crosby and the Penguins can push the series to seven games on Wednesday night.

It has been 21 years since they last met in the finals, but the NBA will renew one of its greatest rivalries today when the LA Lakers meet the Boston Celtics. These two teams have met a total of 10 times in the Finals, with the Celtics holding an 8-2 advantage. Considering where both of these teams started before the season, not to many people would have predicted this match up. Fueled by a couple of really good trades, each team is now poised to make history.

The best kept secret in sports might be the most exciting event of June. Euro 2008 is a sixteen nation soccer tournament that will crown the best soccer nation in Europe. The reigning champs, Greece are back as well as the World Cup Champs, Italy. The tournament starts on June 7th and will be co-hosted by Austria and Switzerland.

Be on the lookout for Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Sydney Crosby, and International Soccer memorabilia.  Once these series' and tournaments have finished, the value of these items will surely rise.  If you are the owner of relavent items, feel free to post them on the site and share them with friends.
