iTaggit gives users the power to document, showcase, value, and monetize the things they are passionate about in one place. iTaggit is a social collecting, private inventorying, valuation research center rolled into one robust site.
Document:
iTaggit provides users the ability to maintain detailed documentation of their items and collections. The add-item wizard allows users to instantly and easily input items and create a collection. iTaggit users can catalog their item using templates created specific for the their type of item or create their own template giving them full control of the cataloging process. Each item record allows for storage of: - up to 10 photos
- documents such as receipts, warranties, and manuals
- audio and video files to be uploaded and saved

- tags
Each item records allows for privacy controls. Users have the option to set their item private, share with friends & family, or make it public. Users also have the option to leave their item public and hide only part of their item's information in the lockbox. Users can also organize their items into collections to make searching for items easier.
Showcase:
Move your collections from the china cabinet to the Web. iTaggit has created communities of people based on their collections and public items appear in the public gallery. Most items listed publicly on iTaggit have a high index rate on both Google and Yahoo making the users items more easily searched. iTaggit easily integrates with most social networking sites using our Facebook application or the html that is generated for each item can be used in Myspace or other html enabled communities. Users can also read and write blogs about their items and send private messages to other members.

Use iTaggit's Google research tool to refine your search and provide more accurate results. The research tool guides you in deciding what types of information are important to include in your searches and helps you find the most accurate results. Once you have determined the value of each of your items, iTaggit records the total value of all of your items for you to monitor in your valuation manager.
