My husband and I have collected many things over the years and enjoy attending swap meets, antique shows, yard and estate sales a few days a week.
Many of the items I have come from relatives who traveled throughout the world from the late 1800's up to the 1960's -- living in Shanghai, Paris, London, and Ireland to name a few. There were 7 brothers and sisters for whom treasures were purchased and brought home. I have spent the last few years sorting through the collections I inherited, and as I turn an eye to retirement I find I'm ready to part with some of them for practical purposes.
